Wine Down Weekend
Persian nomads used multiple kinds of handwoven bags to carry food, garments, blankets, and home goods as they traveled from place to place. Weave taken vintage tribal bags and repurposed them as wine carriers for chic modernized transportation. Grab your favorite vintage & go or gift to a friend, no wrapping required.
Fun Fact:
The city of Shiraz, in modern day Iran, was known as a wine producing region from the 9th century until 1979, exporting to European merchants. In 1978 the Islamic revolution outlawed alcohol production. These vineyards were mentioned in Marco Polo’s travel diaries. Our friends & neighbors at Golden Age are celebrating their four year anniversary tonight! Join them to toast to their success!
